Here a few tips and instructions, to make your arrival and stay the best possible.
Aquí unas pocas directrices para haceos mas fácil la llegada y estancia en la casa.
Entrance | Entrada
The adress: Calle Cuesta de la Baronesa 3, 2º (see a photo of the street and the entrance of the building below of this page). The house is on the second floor, but there is an intermediate floor - so in fact it´s the third floor. In the elevator you have to choose the second floor (the most upper one in fact). During office hours, you will find the main door of the building often left open: on the first floor there is a lawyers office and they prefer this for their clients. During the night, it is better to close the door (without locking it), in case you find it open.
La dirección: Calle Cuesta de la Baronesa 3, 2º. Para reconocer la fachada: tiene carteles del despacho de abogados que está en la primera planta (Nova Cartago Asesores, vea también la foto totalmente abajo de este página). La casa está en la segunda planta (tomando en cuenta que hay un piso entresuelo también). Durante horario de oficina, el despacho de abogados de la primera planta suele dejar la puerta principal del edificio abierta. Por la noche es mejor cerrarlo siempre (sin llave).

Parking | Aparcamiento
There is no parking just below the appartment. There are several paid underground parkings close (option 1, option 2), and there is a free parking lot with a lot of place except during weekdays in the morning, at 8 min walking, at the University campus: option 1, and option 2.
No se puede aparcar justo debajo del piso ya que se encuentra en una zona del casco histórico con muy poco parking y es mayormente peatonal. Muy cerca hay aparcamiento de pago (zona azul). Luego a 5 minutos andando hay dos parkings subterráneos de pago: opción 1, e opción 2. Y a 8 minutos andando encuentras bastante aparcamiento gratis, al lado del campus de la Universidad, opción 1, e opción 2.
Kitchen | Cocina
There is an espresso coffee machine, also a filter coffee machine, a toaster, and please note that the oven can also be used as a microwave. You can use the washing machine if needed. There is a special tap with filtered drinking water, so no need to buy bottled water. There is no dishwasher.
Sentíos en casa:podéis utilizar todo lo que hay en la cocina (productos, uensilios,..) . La cocina incluye una lavadora que también podéis usar si queréis. Encontraréis pequeños electrodomésticos como cafetera, tostadora, etc, que, si no están a la vista, estarán por los armarios. Hay un grifo especial con agua filtrada, así que no hace falta comprar agua embotellada. Sentimos informaros que no hay lavavajillas.
Air conditioning | Aire condicionado
The air conditioning has a separate temperature control for the living room and the sleeping room. Please use it responsibly (often reducing the temperature only a few degrees is already enough for comfort). Note that the fans can also be used, as alternative, or complementary to the air conditioning.
El piso tiene aire condicionado, y además está compartimentado. Se ruega que se utilice el aire condicionado con responsabilidad. También hay ventiladores de techo, que se pueden utilizar como alternativa, o de forma complementaria al aire condicionado.
Garbage | Basura
For longer stays, you may want to throw away the gargabe now and then. There is no specific container for separating your garbage (plastics) but you can use bags to do so, and dump them in the different containers (yellow: plastics and cans, blue: paper, green: glass and black: others and organic) just next to bar EL Soldadito de Plomo (by the way - you should visit this place where Hans Christian Andersen stayed some nights and where they have good coffee, tea, and self-made cakes)
No tenemos contenedores separadores para basura, pero lo podéis hacer simplemente con bolsas. Hay contenedores para reciclar basura muy cerca del bar EL Soldadito de Plomo (no dejéis de ir a esta cafetería antes de iros).
Supermarket | Supermercado
There is a supermarket just in the street below, which also opens in the weekend, including Sunday. There is also a Carrefour Expres which has even more flexible opening hours. The principal market place of Cartagena is Mercado Santa Florentina
Hay un supermercado de barrio justo debajo del piso, que también está abierto los fines de semana. También hay un Carrefour Expres cerca que tiene un horario de apertura diario algo más amplio. El mercado principal de la cuidad es el Mercado Santa Florentina
Household goods | Menaje de casa
You can find clean towels in the big wardrobe in the sleeping room, as well as clean sheets. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom. There is also a iron and ironing board in the wardrobe
Encontraréis toallas limpias en los cajones del cuarto de baño, asi como alfombras para la ducha. Sábanas limpias se encuentran en el armario grande a la izquierda en el dormitorio. Allí también podréis encontar una plancha y algunas cosas de la casa.

Please respect these house rules:
Don´t bring external people to the house.
Pets are allowed, but please let us know at beforehand
Don´t smoke within the house (you can on the terrace)
Se ruega, que se respeten estas reglas de la casa:
No traer gente externa a la casa
Mascotas están permitidas, pero háznoslo saber antes, por favor
No fumar dentro de la casa (se puede en la terraza)

Verify all windows are closed and the air-conditioning is turned off
Just leave the keys within the apartment, on the white large table behind the sofa in the living room, and close the doors behind you.
Optional: send us a message that you left the appartment and everything is in order.
A tomar en cuenta:
Hora de salida: las 11h de la mañana
Compruebe por favor que todas las ventanas esten cerradas y que el aire condicionado en el salón y dormitorio este apagado
Simplemente deje las llaves encima de la mesa blanca grande de la entrada, dentro del apartamento, y sal del apartamento, cerrando las puertas sin llave.
Opcional: mandanos un mensaje que saliste del apartamente y que todo este bien.
